Enhancing the lives of rural citizens has been a mission at your electric cooperative since it was first organized in 1944. CEC is dedicated to helping communities grow, contributing to the success of worthwhile events, and working to ensure a bright future for the areas we serve. We care because we live here too, that's your electric cooperative difference.

Sponsorships
CEC actively supports charitable community events that benefit the members it serves. One of the most worthwhile events your cooperative sponsors is the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

 		Economic Development
Your cooperative is committed to enhancing quality of life in the communities it serves. One of the best ways to do this is by helping to create jobs through economic development efforts.



 		Education
CEC supports education by contributing to school programs and fundraisers. CEC employees conduct electrical safety demonstrations in classrooms along with basic wiring classes for ninth grade vocational students in local schools.
